Mariska is a senior lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. She has been a chartered accountant for 8 years.
She completed her traineeship at KPMG where she was seconded to the KPMG London for 6 months to work on the Worldcom re-audits in 2001.
She joined FirstRand Bank in the International Banking division after completion of her articles. After 3 years at FirstRand Bank she joined the Investec Structured Finance team for a period of 2 years.
She is currently employed as a senior lecturer at the University of Johannesburg lecturing financial management to CA-stream students.
She also lectures on the APT & Thuthuka programmes.
She obtained a Master’s degree Cum (Laude) from the University of Johannesburg in 2006.
