Robert has investigative experience in excess of 37 years. He joined the SAP in 1970-02-16 after matriculating from the Mamelodi Adult Education Centre and became an officer in 1993-07-01. He started his career as an investigator at the Pongola local detective unit in 1971. He was deployed at the Serious Economics Offence Unit (SEOU) in 2002 as an investigator, group commander and project manager. He was involved in the investigation and management of a large number of high profile cases at the SEOU. He retired from the SAPS in 2011, Robert holds the National Diploma (Police Science) obtained from the Technicon SA 1999, and the B Tech Degree (Public Management - Policing) obtained from the Technicon  Pretoria in 2001  Robert is currently a M Tech candidate at the Tshwane University of Technology . Robert`s field of expertise is complex commercial investigations and management of projects.
